Our Sustainability Journey

In its fifth annual Sustainability Report published in June 2023, the company has shared its progress in its five focus areas – fuel, energy, packaging and waste, workplace safety and diversity and inclusion.
We have chosen to implement the TCFD recommendations to enhance our disclosures and to strengthen our business strategy. In this year’s report, we build on last year’s foundation and describe our qualitative climate scenario analysis process along with steps taken to enhance our understanding of and response to identified climate-related risks and opportunities.

In February 2023, ACT was recognized as a 2023 top-rated environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) performer by Sustainalytics, a leading independent global ESG rating agency. In this annual rating, the company has earned the “2023 ESG Industry Top Rated” badge, recognizing its position in the top 7% of the refiners and pipelines industry.
