Alimentation Couche-Tard has been recognized as a 2022 top-rated environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) performer by Sustainalytics, a leading independent global ESG rating agency.
Sustainalytics measures a company’s exposure to industry-specific material ESG risks and analyzes how well a company is managing those risks. With this rating, Alimentation Couche-Tard has earned the “2022 ESG Industry Top Rated” badge, recognizing the company’s position in the top 7% of the refiners & pipelines industry in the yearly ratings issued by the independent global agency.
Commenting on the recognition, Ina Strand, Chief People Officer and leader of Couche-Tard’s global sustainability efforts said: “As Couche-Tard’s sustainability journey continues, I want to thank all our team members and partners for their passion, dedication and hard work in ensuring that sustainability is a business lens in our everyday operations. To create its annual rating, Sustainalytics analyze the ESG performance of more than 14,000 companies across the globe. When determining this year’s recognition, Sustainalytics noted in particular Couche-Tard’s progress in fuel and mobility efficiency and ESG initiatives.
