Couche-Tard has been recognized by the international journal CFI (Capital Finance International) as the "Best Convenience Store Diversity & Inclusion Employer Global 2021."

CFI is a print journal and online resource reporting on business, economics, and finance. Headquartered in London, CFI combines, according to its website, “the views of leading multilateral and national organisations with thought leadership from some of the world’s top minds.”  For its award program, each year, CFI seeks to “identify and reward excellence wherever it is found and inspire others to further improve their own performance.”

The award was announced in the March edition of the magazine, and the magazine also recently featured Couche-Tard. To view the article: https://cfi.co/menu/corporate/2022/05/alimentation-couche-tard-act-demonstrates-how-to-create-a-diverse-and-inclusive-organisation/

This award is a testament to the values we live by and the winning culture we strive daily to protect and promote.  We know that change doesn't happen overnight, but our D&I initiatives are part of our journey of creating an environment where our people can grow and bring their authentic selves to work.

Ina Strand, Chief People Officer

We are proud to see that multiple Business Resource Groups (BRG’s) have been created in the last year. Each of these groups shares the common goal of highlighting the benefits that diversity and unique perspectives bring to the workplace. We must also highlight the efforts made by our people internally to develop our talent and leadership.

ACT believes that its diverse customer base should be reflected in its workforce and management teams. For this reason, we will continue to make a range of resources available to all our teams. We know that the work is not complete, but we are convinced that together we can get there.
