With the acquisition just announced, we will soon be bringing the Circle K experience to more customers in the Gulf Coast region with the addition of 17 convenience stores in Alabama and Louisiana, operating primarily under the Purple Cow name. The agreement with Slidell Oil Co. of Slidell, La., also includes 23 wholesale fuels accounts mainly in Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana.
Slidell Oil Co. is a third-generation business owned and led by brothers Keith and Brian Baker since the early 2000s. The company began the 1940s and has a proud history in both the convenience retail and wholesale fuels business in the region.

Through the acquisition, ACT is gaining large, modern, high-volume facilities that will complement the existing Circle K portfolio in the region while further building Circle K’s wholesale fuels business.
