Our dispensed beverages program continues to turn heads in the industry as it quenches customers’ thirsts in new and different ways.
ACT has been named Hot Beverages Innovator of the Year in Convenience Store News’s 2021 Foodservice Innovators Awards. ACT earned the honors for being the first convenience retailer to offer 100% Sustainably Sourced Coffee and for Sip & Save, our U.S. beverage subscription offering, in which customers can choose a hot or cold dispensed beverage of any size or flavor each day for only $5.99 per month.
Both programs were launched this past spring, building further upon the momentum of our Coffee on Demand program, with bean-to-cup machines delivering the freshest cup of coffee possible.
Foodservice Innovators of the Year are chosen by Convenience Store News’ Foodservice Advisory Council of foodservice experts from the retailer, supplier, wholesaler, research and consulting fields. They are asked to select retailers in each of five categories that are “raising the bar on quality, service and innovation” in the convenience store foodservice category.

Citing our 100% Sustainable Sourced Coffee program, one judge on the Convenience Store News Foodservice Advisory Council says: “Customers are always looking for differentiation and 100% sustainable coffee is certainly that. The current customer base is environmentally conscious, so this appears to be an intelligent move to get that customer into the store.”
Now in its 10th year, the Foodservice Innovators Awards program has been recognizing best-in-class convenience foodservice retailers since 2012.
